2018 On Course Fore a Cure fundraiser

On Course Fore a Cure is the premiere fundraising event for The Cure Starts Now Foundation in the Hampton Roads Area. Funds raised at this event will help to fund pediatric brain cancer research in memory of Morgan Pritchett. Morgan was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor called DIPG in October 2007 at the age of 5. After a courageous, 20 month battle, she went to her heavenly home on June 30, 2009. Morgan loved arts and crafts, singing and dancing, dressing up like a princess and planning parties. Her perseverance and determination throughout her illness were an inspiration to many people whose lives she touched forever. Read more about Morgan and her story at: www.caringbridge.org/visit/ladybug.

THANK YOU! Your support will improve kids chances and help keep doctors and researchers on course for a cure!

All proceeds of this event will benefit The Cure Starts Now (CSN). CSN was started by Brooke and Keith Desserich after the loss of their daughter to brain cancer. CSN's mission is to provide funding for the most innovative and promising research for pediatric brain cancer, with a focus on DIPG specific research. Many experts believe that unlocking the cure for the most aggressive and elusive type of brain cancer could, in fact, represent a "homerun" cure that will eventually be the cure for all cancers. Since 2008, CSN and the partners in the DIPG Collaborative have provided over $10.2 million to fund new experimental treatments and research. To learn more, visit www.thecurestartsnow.org.
